The benefit of the Thank Me Later plugin is that when somebody submits a comment on your site, this plugin will then send them an email thanking them for that comment. The benefit of doing this is that you can send them a link back to your blog that will get them to comment more often, signup for your email list, follow you on Twitter and even write a guest post for you.
Providing a commentator with a short thank you is something that more people should do and this Thank Me Later plugin does just that. Not only will this give people a better feeling for commenting on your site, it will give you more traffic and as you already know, that is priceless.
Newsletter Sign-Up
Have you ever wondered how some blogs get people to sign up for their email lists? For many bloggers, it is done with a WordPress plugin called Newsletter Sign-Up. The great thing about this plugin is that it places the checkbox that allows people to sign up right after the comment box. If a reader is going to submit a comment, they might also want to sign up and receive some of the emails that you send out. What you need to understand is that this is not a must but if you want to make sure your blog doesn’t suffer from not getting enough traffic and subscribers, then you need to have this plugin activated on your site.
