It must be your lucky week. Following hot on the heels of our Sunrise integration, Slack is now joining the party. Thanks to Slack, you can now add to-dos as you chat and be notified of all the goings-on in your lists right in your channel.
So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.
- Sign into Slack and click on your company name in the top left, then on “Configure Integrations” in the drop down
- Find “Wunderlist” in the list of “All Integrations” and click on “Add”
- Select or create a Slack channel and then click on “Add Wunderlist Integration”
- Once you have authenticated Wunderlist, all you have to do is choose a list from your Wunderlist and click on “Save Integration”. Done!
Now that you’ve integrated a list into one of your channels, want to test it out? Try commenting on, creating or completing a new to-do. Each time you do anything in your selected list on Wunderlist it will show up in your chosen Slack channel. The rest of your team can now witness your productivity prowess and stay in the loop, all without having to write them an email.
We often discuss important next steps for projects (in between all the gifs and emojis that populate our Slack channel), and with the Slack and Wunderlist Integration it’s super easy to add to-dos while we chat. Just type /wunderlist add [your to-do]
and it will create a to-do in your Wunderlist Inbox. Just remembered that you need to buy milk? It’s ok, you can add that too – no one else will see.
