  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
     These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings  > Connections > More connection settings.
  3. Tap Emergency alerts.
  4. Tap SETTINGS (upper-right).
  5. Tap Alert types.
  6. Select any of the following to turn on  or off :
     Presidential alerts can’t be disabled.
    • Extreme alerts
    • Severe alerts
    • AMBER alerts
    • Emergency alert test messages
