Ceartas, an anti-piracy startup based in Dublin, has secured $4.5 million in seed funding, following up on previous investment secured in 2021. The company’s platform boasts an impressive 98% deindexing rate for pirated content on Google, with an overall 99% removal rate across search engines and other online sources. Notably, Ceartas also offers detection capabilities for deepfakes and other unauthorized AI-generated content that infringes on copyrights.
The startup has garnered a reputation as a cybersecurity leader, thanks to its remarkable 99% removal rate for unauthorized content posted on major digital platforms. Ceartas serves as an official safety partner for OnlyFans and collaborates with Fanfix as their brand protection partner, safeguarding digital content and intellectual property across key platforms in the digital economy.
The latest funding round was led by Earlybird Venture Capital and Upside VC, with participation from various angel investors. This fresh capital will enable Ceartas to enhance its bespoke anti-piracy solutions, catering to diverse sectors and addressing the escalating sophistication of digital threats.
